Guthrie Orphans and Widows is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity that partners with sponsors who act as Kinsman Redeemers in their own country. These sponsors understand the needs in their small section of the world and are able to focus on projects that can produce tangible change. Our approach includes targeted micro-grants with a narrow focus and specific start and end dates. Funded programs meet a wide range of needs, including care centers for children, immunizations, salaries for teachers, scholarships for education, and blankets.
