Ashoka envisions a world where everyone is a changemaker: a world that responds quickly and effectively to social challenges, and where each individual has the freedom, confidence and societal support to address any social problem and drive change. We want to bring about a change in the existing mentality, to instill the notion that everyone can be a social entrepreneur, creating effective and systemic social change within his or her field and region. The only things that are needed are commitment, passion, creativity and originality. Ashoka wants to realize this by shaping a Citizen Sector that is entrepreneurial, productive and globally integrated.
