Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, founded by The King Rama V ( H.M. King Chulalongkorn the great ) gave formal approval to the proposals for the Charter and Statutes in the 1887. Now Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University is a well-known Buddhist University in Thailand and around the world. Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University is aims to provide Tipitaka studies, Buddhist Philosophy and higher education, not only for monks and novices, not just in Thailand but also for laypeople across the world.
