Everyone should have a safe place to call home. Bridge It, based in Melbourne aims to break the cycle of homelessness and increase connection and belonging. In our first year, we exited 20 people from homelessness. Our flagship program is The Cocoon Residential service. The program provides a home for young people who identify as female and who are exiting out-of-home care. We also provide wrap around support including case management, peer mentoring, life and living skills development, therapies and community building activities. The Cocoon is the only supportive housing for female identifying people who are leaving care in Victoria. Bridge It has big plans to make the world a better place for everyone.
