Based in Austin, TX, Binary Solo is an independent game company started by former employees of BioWare Austin, makers of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Binary Solo aims to provide quality first and foremost while iterating on established methods of telling stories in videogames. After completing work on their first project in collaboration with Sky Tyrannosaur, Blowfish Meets Meteor, they set off on a journey to explore the concepts of game design and "indie" game development. This resulted in the web and video game series "Indie Van Game Jam" in which they travel around the country, interview independent game developers, and make a game on the way in their van.
