Biswa Gouri Charitable Trust, is a secular organization established in 2009 to empower children and young adults with autism and Intellectual Disabilities. We have created a structured learning environment to enable children to build social and communication skills; to help them thrive within their family and society. Bubbles Centre for Autism is an intervention program involving children between 4 to 15 years of age. Objective of the school programme is to improve functional literacy, self-care, effective communication and socialisation. High retention amongst students enables us to achieve over 70% improvement in all areas over time. Pragati towards Livelihood is a NSDC approved skill training centre addressing the needs of those above 16 years of age. Through the vocational training unit, we teach creative arts, digital literacy and hospitality (F&B). Few of our young adults have started working on paid live projects and as paid intern with various organizations. Aadhar Outreach Program has the main objective to take our best practices to the rural NGOs to identify and implement Primary Intervention program for children with Delayed Development. We are presently working with 5 partners across Karnataka and West Bengal. Our partners include Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, Hans Foundation, IDFC FIRST Bank, Charities Aid Foundation, Dana Mojo, Saint Gobain and Dhwani Foundation. We are a trust and have an independent 9-member board and comply with 80G, FCRA, 12A, PAN and Darpan ID. We have secured the GuideStar Transparency Key.
