We have been providing exhibitions to the population of Tromsø and it's visitors to others since 1924. Ever since the beginning, the goal of Tromsø Kunstforening has been to support and present what we today call contemporary art. We have a long tradition behind us, but our values and our focus are directed towards innovative and experimental work. We work together with both internationally established and newly-trained artists and our programme embraces both the regionally-based and international arts scene.
