Starting in 1996, GreatChina International Education (GIE) has been working with Chinese students and young professionals to prepare for and explore future careers, pursue higher education goals, and develop skills to be successful in classes and the workplace. GIE is registered at the federal and state levels of the United States and recognized by the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles and Houston, formerly with AIRC, and certified by the National Association of Foreign Student Affairs (NAFSA), the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), and International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF). GIE has also been approved by Chinese authorities including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Bureau of Civil Affairs and the Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. The GreatChina Institute of Study-Abroad (GISA) is affiliated with GreatChina International Education-GIE, one of the top ten international institutes in China. GISA focuses on strengthening students’ test taking skills to prepare for study abroad. With ten-year experience in curricular research, development and teaching, we cover all test subjects for studying in North America. Our current curriculum covers iBT, SAT, ACT, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL JUNIOR, SSAT and other related training for English proficiency. GISA employs skilled overseas returnees from well-known higher education institutions and has created the unique Double-A (Active & Academic) TOEFL learning method, through which students gain markedly higher TOEFL results. At the same time, our master-degree faculty group has created a canonical SAT teaching system that has also helped students achieve better results. Our focus on professional teaching has provided hundreds of students with opportunities to make breakthroughs and achieve the dream of studying abroad.
