Attic opened its doors in Aberdeen in October 2001 with a mix of cutting edge brands, new up and coming designers and a selection of our favourite established collections thrown together to make an eclectic statement that has become our signature ever since. Always on the look out for something new and exciting we scour the globe to bring the very best products we can find. Each piece is selected based on the quality of finish, value for money and most importantly if we think it looks the part or not! We opened the flood gates to the rest of the world to have a look at what we do in July 2003 with the launch of atticclothing.com it became an instant hit and has continued to grow and evolve ever since. In 2005 we opened our 2nd store in Inverurie. 2007 saw the biggest project Attic has had to date, we moved out of our store in Aberdeen to break down some walls move some pillars and create a 4000 sq ft store which broke new ground in store design. The shopfit won the prestigious Scottish Architecture and Design award and was swiftly nominated as one of Britain’s Best Buildings. With all of this going on its easy to see why we have been voted as one of FHM’s Top 100 Stores, nominated as an “Indie I Admire” by Drapers and feature as one of the Top 100 Companies of all time by the Princess Trust.
