Kinnevik has an asset base of EUR 5 billion and daughter companies and holdings around the globe. Examples of Kinnevik business include Korsnäs, a leading global packaging company, the telecommunications group Tele2, media group MTG and the publishing house Metro. Some of the newer investments include Black Earth Farming with over 300 000 hectares of farming land in Russia, the Rolnyvik farms in Poland, and Sia Latgran, one of Europe’s largest wood pellets manufacturers. Renewable energy is one of Kinnevik’s focus areas for new growth, and as such Kinnevik and Vireo Energy have substantial own capital to invest in bioenergy projects.
