The Union Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) was founded on 29 September 1966. The UHM Voice of the Workers today represents over 26,000 members and include workers from all walks of life and pensioners. Since the General Conference of 2015, UĦM opened its membership to 4 pillars – Union Sections (which were already existent), Co-operatives, In-House Unions and Associations. Membership within the UĦM is open to all Workers, Apprentices and Trainees irrespective of their class, sector or grade, Associations, Co-operatives, In-House Unions and to Pensioners.
