In 1991, a group of professionals in the Philippine Freight Forwarding Industry decided to form an international freight forwarding company that will cater to the needs of the growing business in the Philippines.Hence, SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL, INC. was born with its first address at Tambo, Parañaque City, Philippines. After operating for barely a year, SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL INC. was able to achieve recognition from various Philippine government offices and agencies as well as in the freight forwarding association. Full accreditation as an NVOCC, FREIGHT FORWARDER, CONSOLIDATOR AND BREAKBULK AGENT was awarded by the Philippines Shippers Bureau (PSB). Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) also accredited SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL, INC. as an international airfreight forwarder. With its membership with the Philippine International Sea Freight Forwarder Association (PISFA), SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL, INC. consequently earned its affiliation with prestigious Federation of International Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA) in 1993. Later, SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL, INC. set up a branch office in Cebu, located in the southern part of the Philippines and the second major port of the land. In 1995, Springer International, Inc. received its International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification and later joined the Aircargo Forwarders of the Philippines, Inc. (AFPI). SPRINGER INTERNATIONAL, INC. then on matured with professional reputation in the competitive industry.
