Dråpen i Havet (A Drop in the Ocean) was founded in September 2015, and has since then organised more than 7000 volunteer field workers to contribute in our activities in Greek refugee camps. Dråpen i Havet’s purpose is to provide immediate and direct aid to refugees, providing services and activities in the camps and in our community centres. We currently operate in four locations around Greece, running projects and services both in and around refugee camps. Our work tasks include distribution of food, clothes and non-food items, provision of essential services and organising different activities for children and adults in the camps. Several volunteers also contribute to the administration in Norway.
