Near Vision Institute is a Washington State non-profit founded to educate, provide evaluation & treatment services, develop tools, and support research into improving near vision function in literacy tasks in order to transform lives and realize human potential worldwide. We provide clinical services in Washington State, USA through our EYE See Clinic base and mobile units. We offer visual screenings, eye exams, eyeglasses, functional vision evaluations and therapy treatment services. Near Vision Institute has developed an interdisciplinary collaborative toolkit and patient portal called EYE Toolbox providing online access to innovative software applications that address vision dysfunctions through remote protocols. We provide professional training about vision issues, best practice treatment approaches, and how to use our EYE Toolbox to improve access to care worldwide. We work collaboratively with research universities, students, and faculty on software and technology projects that can assist in bringing intervention solutions for vision issues that impact development, learning, work, and the enjoyment of life.
