BRIEF INTRODUCTION Laboratory affiliated to the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics of the Graduate School of Engineering of The University of Tokyo. Led by Professor Shinichi Nakasuka and Associate Professor Ryu Funase. RESEARCH At the Nakasuka Laboratory (Intelligent Space Systems Laboratory), we are conducting research aiming at the realization of "intelligent" space systems. -Spacecraft control problems: rendezvous-docking control, retrieval of non-cooperative tumbling objects, formation flight, space robotics -Spacecraft autonomy and intelligent systems: scheduling of space activities, model-based fault diagnosis system, spacecraft design support system -Novel space systems: large membrane structure (furoshiki satellite), NCSS (Non Critical Spacecraft System) ENGINEERING We are also developping student-led small satellite projects.
