Scratch Art Space is an arts complex in Marrickville, Sydney. SAS has a gallery, five art studios and a private upstairs space where the art workshops and courses are run. We also run an artist in residence program twice a year one for international artists and one for Australian regional artists. SAS Gallery is a service focussed gallery for artists that provides administrative, practical, and marketing support for exhibitions and events. Our aim is to promote and support artists through ongoing studio and gallery programs. We provide a stable studio environment for unrepresented artists. All of the SAS art workshops and courses are run by professional artists.
