Tyto Law is a sole practitioner solicitor’s practice run by Oliver Saxon. Growing up in Thorpe Hesley, Dodworth, Sheffield, I went to Penistone Grammar School until we moved as a family to the flatlands of North Lincolnshire, a landscape of big skies and a road network that never fails to impress visitors. It’s an area I love and am still based here. After graduating in Law from the University of Newcastle, and attaining my Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Sheffield. I trained at Cross Keys Law in Crowle. I moved on to Pepperells in Scunthorpe, before beginning work in the commercial litigation department at Wosskow Brown in Sheffield. More recently, I worked in insolvency litigation for Lupton Fawcett LLP (a Legal 500 firm) Being in an area with such fantastic transport links, my philosophy is simple: I see clients when it is convenient for them, not when my office diary and company meetings permit. I can reach Sheffield, Leeds and York in under an hour and Doncaster, Grimsby and Hull are even closer for appointments.
