OPTIMA – THE OPERATIONS CLUB OF BIM has the mission of nurturing the interests in operations, providing important developments in the field of Operations Management. They share the best industrial practices for the students and make them in sync with the live world. It organizes various workshops and events that help the students to understand operations concepts in a better way. It brings the classroom teachings and practical applications together in the events they conduct every trimester in various fields of Operations – Operations Strategy, Logistics, and Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning through Simulation Games, Case studies and quizzes. Brahmos – An Annual event of Optima club, conducted with a mix of the first-year and second-year involving design thinking and simulation game. Samkriya – The Flagship event for the first year, a daylong event to incorporate operations principles and best practices. Sangramam – An event to explore and experience real-time operations management.
