Prince William Sound Science Center is an independent Alaska research and education non-profit organized to promote, catalog and share relevant science for the benefit of residents, resource managers and other local stakeholders. PWSSC is taking a leading role in understanding ecological change in a world where shifts in atmospheric and ocean climate threaten livelihoods and pose difficult problems for those managing and enhancing the planet’s important living resources. We have operated since 1989, facilitating and conducting programs to improve our understanding of the Prince William Sound and Copper River Delta ecosystems.
