Be The Change Earth Alliance is a leading eco-social education organization with a focus on creating and disseminating engaging climate change curriculum in BC’s schools. Established in 2005, our vision is to empower individual and collective change for a resilient, just, connected, and sustainable world. We currently fulfill this mandate through providing curriculum resources, professional development, and capacity building opportunities for teachers and students. At present, our core program, ‘SLC: Student Leadership for Change,’ is an education curriculum that inspires youth to connect, understand, and respond to the environmental and social challenges they face. Our organization is led by an interdisciplinary team, connected by the common goal of using education and empowerment to tackle the greatest environmental issues of our time.
