The Consular Corps of North Carolina is the official body that represents the collective group of all Career and Honorary Consuls covering the State of North Carolina. The State is home to career and honorary consuls representing over 20 nations from across the world. A Consul is an official representative appointed by a government to live in a foreign territory and look after the business and interests of the home country, assist and protect its nationals within the consular jurisdiction, as well as improve relations, communications, and trade between nations, people, and regions of the world.
