"Messenger's Music Labs" SambaLolo is an independent production house, record label and publisher focusing on West African music traditions and their futures. We nurture and support an eco-system in which West African artists can take control of their own productions and creatively express themselves as messengers from their own communities. We foster communication that allows a community to become stronger, to resolve conflicts, and leverage the best tools available to further music production and education for new and developing talent, often young groups forming in village or urban local. SambaLolo Production was founded by Boubacar Diabate and Mateja Miljacki in 2004, as an extension of the performance group SambaLolo. We are a group of producers and artists operating in Bamako, Mali, Conakry, Guinea, and Boston, U.S.A. Our productions are culturally conscious and carefully crafted messages which originate in various West African cultures. We provide production resources, engineering and education to young artists in West Africa, guiding them toward ownership of their productions and messages. We open doors to their first global publications. SambaLolo provides a stage for emerging artists in West Africa in the form of live production in villages and urban local.
