FICANEX is an organization that is deeply rooted in the Canadian payments and financial services industry. In alignment with its founding principles, FICANEX targets and promotes collaboration among its member credit unions and banks as a way of efficiently achieving their strategic goals. The FICANEX Group comprises of two limited partnerships that are 100% owned by their customers, FICANEX Services and FICANEX Technology. FICANEX Services was formed in 2000 by a group of credit union and banks looking to secure the right to use the intellectual property associated with THE EXCHANGE Network from Fiserv EFT in Canada. Today, THE EXCHANGE Network has over 170 member credit unions and banks. FICANEX Technology was formed in 2017 and owns and operates tunl., which leverages THE EXCHANGE Network’s technology infrastructure to provide easy and secure integration with next-generation digital services.
