Our club " Arena " Pula is not the first Rugby club which has operated in Pula . Not even the first to bear the name . In 1965. a club with the same name was foundedand in Pula and its founding marked the beginning of the tradition of the sport of rugby in the city of Pula . Over time, the club ceased operations , but in 2001. the group of enthusiasts who accidentally found themselves in Pula gathered around and Goran Slavulj and Perica Bajsa and decided to revive the forgotten tradition . Although the whole story started yet in 2001. , the Rugby club " Arena " Pula became operational only 2010th when Perica Bajs , one of the founders of the club , gathered in his neighborhood a few boys with whom he began to train . In the year 2012. rugby club starts with presentations in Pula's elementary schools and the club starts cadet team consisting of ten boys with coach Lem Treursić . Cadets of RK Arena will be included in the Croatian rugby league , and given the great interest of students and gym teachers in the school year 2014/2015 Rugby Club Arena , and Pula elementary schools will organize school competitions in touch rugby for boys and girls.
