The Canadian Marine Careers Foundation, (CMCF), brings together industry stakeholders from the marine industry and the federal government to combine awareness efforts and attract talent to marine careers. One of the CMCF’s first initiatives is Imagine Marine, a digital campaign aimed to raise awareness of the industry so it can continue to attract the skilled labour, trades and accredited professionals needed to steer the industry forward. The campaign asks Canadians to Imagine Marine and start a conversation that sparks the imagination of the next wave of employees so that they consider careers in an industry with a tradition and future like no other. Imagine Marine is present on social media and has a dedicated website which serves as a career resource to inform, direct and support future employees with academic, financial aid and career information.
