The Girls' Schools Association encourages the highest standards of education, pastoral care and co-curricular activity, and our schools provide a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities in art, music, drama, sport and more. Our members share experience, specialisms, opportunities and facilities with state sector schools in a wide range of partnerships. Many also provide means-tested bursaries for families of limited financial means. We highlight the benefits of being taught in a predominantly girls-only environment, helping to inform and influence the national educational debate and providing the teachers in our schools with a wide range of professional development activities and opportunities to share best practice.
