Drible Japan started as a sports retail company in 1993 in Shizuoka, which is regarded as the hub of Japanese football with its successful high school teams and numerous young players who`ve battled their way to the national teams of Japan. Futsal, the five-a-side version of football, started gaining popularity in Japan at the turn of the millennium. Despite the fame, the supply of properly functioning futsal shoes was scarce. The players needed lightness, traction, quickness and agility. Shoes that would offer better technique and more creativity to control the ball in a tighter space. We founded Desporte in 2003 to serve this purpose. Since then Desporte has emerged as one of the top futsal brands in Japan, and our shoes are worn by many players in the F. League. Today we`re still serving the same purpose as back in 2003. We want to help players reach their full potential by designing and creating properly functioning gear that`s lightweight, comfortable and cool! We want to support a healthy, active lifestyle, and offer people the kind of equipment that makes their sports experience a fulfilling one. We are currently looking for international distributors.
