In 1992, Susan founded her own practice with the goal to deliver a high end service to small-medium size businesses, not-for-profit and charity organizations, and personal tax clients. In the years since, the firm has grown from a sole proprietorship to a full-service accounting firm with multiple CPAs. At Curtis-Villar, we are all about personal service, but with ‘big firm’ experience. We have a passion for this industry and take pride in our work. We are a friendly group of professionals who truly look forward to coming to work each day, partly due to the wonderful clients we serve, partly because of our co-workers, and partly due to the surroundings we work in. We have worked hard at developing first class relationships with our clients and this has helped our firm grow and evolve into what we are today. Without great clients, it’s difficult to attract great staff, yet without great staff, it’s difficult to keep great clients. You could say we’ve been lucky on both counts, or you could say you make your own luck.
