The vision of RDF International School’s founders was to create a school where character, liberal arts, and science-focused education would prepare students for success in a top world university in America or other western countries. That wonderful vision is coming to fruition at the RDF school, which is located on a world-class campus in the beautiful Dapeng District of Shenzhen China. RDFIS blends together character, reason, and plenty of fun by offering outstanding academics (including AP courses), athletics, music, and extracurricular programs. The student experience culminates in impressive portfolios, project-based learning, teamwork, oral presentations, competitions, and experiential learning. The school feels strongly that strengthening character—such as personal responsibility, discipline, and fortitude—is indispensable to properly educating the hearts and minds of the rising generation. The school serves hundreds of students on-campus in grades 7–12. The administration, faculty, and staff are highly unified and consist of more than 50 highly qualified personnel with many holding advanced degrees. Rigorous courses are offered in history, language arts, fine arts, leadership, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, technology, social studies, speech & debate, drama, choir, sociology, business fundamentals, wellness, and more. Extra-curricular activities include sports, such as basketball, soccer, cross country, badminton, and tennis. We also offer choir, band, competitions, student government, and service learning.
