Galvanize Fit
www.galvanizefit.comFounded May 23, 2015, Galvanize is a free men’s workout group created by ordinary men to invigorate male leadership in all aspects of life, work, home, church and community. Fitness is the medium we use to develop leadership. Break a Sweat Galvanize workouts consist of body-weight exercises performed in a group workout. These workouts involve a combination of functional fitness, high intensity interval training, and military-style calisthenics. No special certifications, equipment or facilities needed. We meet outdoors rain or shine, hot or cold- weather does not stop us. Break down walls Galvanize workouts are led by the men participating in the workout in a rotating fashion. Each week, a different member of the group will lead the workout. The process of participant-led workouts allows each man to practice leadership skills, gain confidence and grow in their ability to lead and serve. Each workout ends in a COT- Circle of Trust. This is an opportunity for the men of Galvanize to share challenges they are facing, prayers that are needed or praises to celebrate with a tribe of men who will support, celebrate and when needed challenge each other. This process forges the bonds of brotherhood and trust. Break Bread After each workout, you can find many of the GMen gathering for coffee and breakfast at a local coffee shop or diner. It is in these engagements where deeper bonds are formed as the men of Galvanize spend time catching up on the events of the past week. Once a month, we have a "Muster" where we encourage all GMen to gather for a group breakfast. Workout rules: 1. The workout must be free of charge 2. The workout must be open to all men 3. The workout must be held outdoors rain or shine, heat or cold 4. The workout must be led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary. 5. The workout must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)
