Founded in 1981, Dominique Perrault Architecture is an international studio of architecture, urban planning and design, bringing together around Dominique Perrault a multidisciplinary and international team. Paris-based firm has two international offices both in Geneva and Madrid. After having won the international competition for the National French Library in 1989, Dominique Perrault Architecture achieved great works abroad such as the Velodrome and Olympic swimming pool of Berlin, the extension of the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, the Olympic tennis centre in Madrid, the campus of EWHA’s University in Seoul, the Fukoku Tower in Osaka, Japan and the DC Tower 1 in Vienna. Moreover, DPA conducts major heritage rehabilitations such as the Dufour Pavilion at the Château de Versailles, the prestigious Hippodrome Paris Longchamp and the Poste du Louvre building both in Paris. Dominique Perrault is a committed figure in the contemporary architecture scene, professor at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale of Lausanne (Switzerland), lecturer in France and abroad, he is a member of the Scientific Council of the Greater Paris International Workshop since 2012. Since 2015 Dominique Perrault is member of Académie des Beaux-Arts, architecture section.
