We are an SME specialized in the production and marketing of compounds labelled with stable isotopes (SI: 2H, 13C and 15N and combinations thereof) for life sciences. Our customers are research institutions in academia and pharmacological companies working in the field of NMR structural biology and quantitative mass spectrometry (proteomics and metabolomics). Silantes` products and services are marketed worldwide, both directly and through distributors. Silantes technology is based on biochemical and biophysical methods using a variety of different organisms as cell factory for production of fine chemicals. The product portfolio comprises SI-amino acids, SI-growth media for bacteria and yeast, SI-nucleotides and phosphoramidites, kits for cell culture labelling (SILAC), kits for in vivo labelling of model organisms such as mouse, C.elegans and zebra fish. Our services include enzymatic and chemical synthesis of SI-labelled oligonucleotides and growth of SI-labelled bacteria and algae according to customers` specification.
