This can be achieved by supporting the industry in various ways: -Promotion of ethical and scientific quality. -Representation on boards, colleges or other significant platforms. -Maintenance of ethically sound practices for the best interest of research subjects, the benefit of science and the general population. CAICR/ACRCI Goals: 1. Representation of our stakeholders by: -Communicating our collective successes to the industry. -Advocating for improvements in clinical research in Canada. -Identifying industry improvement opportunities. -Proposing systemic changes to benefit the Canadian research environment and supporting the implementation of such improvements. 2. Attracting new clinical studies to Canada: -Showcasing the advantages and strengths of independent research sites in Canada. -Educating global sponsors regarding the many advantages of running research in Canada 3. Patient Engagement -Support initiatives to educate patients regarding clinical research. -Actively participate in efforts to improve patient participation in clinics research
