Isshinryu (One heart/one mind) was developed by Sensei Shimabuku, Okinawa's Grand Master of Shorin-Ryu. He devoted his life to the study of Karate. He was a Master of Goju-Ryu. He studied Kabashi-Ryu under famous Chotokan Kiyan and Later under legendary Choki Motobu.
