UTO EduConsult is part of a group of companies also comprising UEC International and Utopia Vacations, a Sri Lanka Tourist Board approved travel operator. The organisation has established itself in the MICE industry and carved a niche for itself in specific segments of the industry. These include the financial sector, with a special focus on Islamic Banking & Finance, the Halal Food industry, and the Halal travel industry, all sectors that have exhibited significant growth in the past decade. KEY EVENTS: The Company hosts several events on an annual basis. These include the Sri Lanka Islamic Banking & Finance Industry Conference (SLIBFI Conference), the Capital Markets Conference (CAPM), ,the Halal Conference and Exhibition (Halal Expo) now re-branded as the Ramadhan Expo, (SLIBFI) Awards Night, & the Maldives Islamic Banking and Finance Industry (MIBFI) Conference. Attendees to the conferences hosted by UTO have straddled the globe, from countries as diverse as Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, USA, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE, India, Pakistan, the Maldives and Mauritius.
