Guru Engineering Tech is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization started by John Hance. John has volunteered his time with many different schools and competitive science teams working with students to design, build, and fly rubber band powered airplanes for Wright Stuff, Elastic Launched Gliders, and helicopters over the past 13 years. John has helped to coach and mentor students who have won multiple State and National competitions. Frustrated by the high cost of resources for these schools, Guru Engineering Tech was established to provide high quality resources to schools, teams, and students at lower costs. John has also worked to help schools, teams, and students in many other engineering competitions and Guru Engineering Tech hopes to bring his expertise to provide more low cost kits and resources in the future.
