Khadoum is a Civic Tech, it was created in an effort to spread civic engagement and community participation among youth. The IOS and Android app takes users on a journey that will later result in an increase in their overall empathy level and sense of leadership. It also motivate participants to acquire a higher sense of responsibility and honesty. The app enable users to unlock a set of volunteer ideas and community challenges, participants are encouraged to provide solutions to the presented challenges or complete the volunteer ideas and provide proof of completion (e.g. photo or video). The app Admin will review the verification and grant participants points accordingly, each point is equivalent to 1 volunteer hours which users can later redeem in an exchange of gifts or discounts. Users can also request for a volunteer certificate.
