Randy Brill started in the pet business in 1970 with his first store Tropic Pet Center, Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Over the years, his wife Sharon Brill has become a “jack of all trades” helping out wherever there is a need. Their son, Dave Brill, joined the family business fulltime 20 years ago, but he jokes that there isn’t a time he remembers not being involved with the family business. “Our family business is successful because of our extended family – our employees,” said Dave. “We would not have been successful over the past 40 plus years, without our employees’ dedication, support and the tremendous care they give to our animals.”
