Thames Gateway Manufacturing Centre Limited (TGMC) are a small to medium sized Contract Electronic Manufacturer, working from a new ESD safe unit in Hainault, Essex. The unit has been equipped with plant and machinery far beyond what would normally be expected from a company of the same size. TGMC has grown year on year since the current Directors took over total ownership in October 2002, and they have made considerable investment during the last two years with the purchases of a second Siemens pick and place machine, BGA inspection and rework systems and the obvious investment required to make the manufacturing processes RoSH and lead free compliant. TGMC were awarded ISO9000 in November 2000, which incidentally was the date the company started trading. In June 2001 they achieved the newer standard ISO9001:2000 and are currently registered as ISO9001:2008. TGMC have adopted IPC610A, class 2 as their workmanship standards. This is an industry recognised standard and is widely adopted by electronic companies. However the real heart of TGMC is its people. They boast a well-trained and dedicated workforce who have been supplying the needs of their customers, and often beyond, from day one. A ‘will do’ approach is one of the keystones of the TGMC success. TGMC staff view customers as colleagues and communicate at every level from Goods In to Executives.
