Founded originally as a media platform for startups, Naija Startups was created to showcase the evolving startup and small business landscape in a way that was truly representative of the wealth of innovation, talent and entrepreneurial expertise in Africa. With a focus on African-owned businesses, we have a growing community of 85,000+ business owners. Our mission is to support SMEs for growth and sustainability through 3 strategic pillars: i) Structure: providing business development tools, resources and services to create adequate operational structures for investment-readiness. ii) Capital: facilitating investment, fundraising, and funding of businesses, enabling them to scale and stabilise. iii) Capacity & Capability: enabling entrepreneur development through valuable content, training, networking and mentorship programs, as well as international opportunities.
