Tribotron is a privately held corporation dedicated to innovative methods for material and surface characterization. This includes determination of material properties like abrasion, hardness, e-modulus, scratch resistance, roughness and 3D topography. Tribotron is the official distribution partner of Nanovea for Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Tribotron operates its own independent laboratory in the building of Empa St.Gallen. The company participates in national and international research projects. Tribotron also offer research, development and testing in its laboratory as a service.
