The Hostal Nou is an old hostel, presumably from the seventeenth century, which has been carefully restored and adapted to recover its original use, now as a country house hostel, keeping and respecting its old structure by combining it with traditional and modern architectural and decorative elements. The hostel is located 2 KM away from the village of Crespià (Pla de l’Estany – Girona) in an idyllic, peaceful and silent spot surrounded by forests, fields of sunflowers, wheat, walnut and olive trees, which makes it the perfect place to relax and to enjoy nature. Its privileged location at one hour and a half drive from Barcelona and very near to Figueres, Banyoles, Besalú and Girona, at 30 minutes from the coast and at 45 minutes from the Pyrenees, it is perfect to visit all the regions of the Girona Province. The house is just 15 minutes away from the high speed railway station of Figueres and at 40 minutes from Girona airport. Our bed and breakfast has 7 rooms with bathroom, free wi-fi all over the building and garden, reading room, games, meeting room, private parking in the property, garden, vegetable garden and swimming-pool. In the area it is possible to practice several activities in sports, nature, culture, gastronomy and wine. We have cooperation agreements with specialists on these activities.
