In our May 2020 Strategy the Danish Environmental Portal has committed to support the circular economy, the adaptation to climate change, new technologies and new partnerships. In this way, we can better support Denmark's green transition. The Danish Environmental Portal is a joint public partnership owned by the Danish state, municipalities and regions. Our purpose is to support digital environmental management in Denmark. We gather environmental data and make it available to the benefit of society. This includes data about the environment, water, nature, land use, and adaptation to climate change. The data is used across a number of areas, for example when citizens obtain soil pollution certificates, when municipalities designate pesticide-free areas, or when the state prepares water plans, agricultural plans and wastewater regulations. We have 18 employees in the secretariat and 6 monitoring groups of environmental professionals that take care of our users' needs.
