Petro Verde Energy Inc. is an emerging private company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Its area of focus is the enhanced recovery of heavy and light oil using novel extraction technologies. Licenses are under review for two proprietary technologies: (1) an in situ thermal combustion process for enhanced heavy oil extraction, and (2) an organic microbial process for enhanced light oil extraction. Projects are being evaluated in Canada and the United States with the objective of initiating operations by the Summer of 2011.
