Founded in 1912, The San Diego Police Officers Association [SDPOA] represents the dedicated and professional sworn members of the San Diego Police Department [SDPD]. As the only legally recognized bargaining agent for the sworn members of the SDPD, we assist officers in issues related to wages, hours and working conditions. The SDPOAs other primary focus is aiding members and their families in sickness, distress and in the unfortunate circumstance of death. We strive to improve social relationships and welfare among the members and the community we serve. Public safety is of paramount importance to us.
