The roots of Mecalift, an independent family-owned company, go back to the year 1981. Operation under the current name was founded in 1993. From 2019 the company is owned by Lännen MCE Oy, Sign Systems Finland Oy, and Credos Oy. Chairman of the board is Mr. Timo Huttunen. Other members of the board are Juhani Eskelinen, Jarmo Viitala, and Janne Kalliomäki. Janne Kalliomäki also works as the CEO of the company.
