Eliteearth
www.eliteearth.inGurpreet is a contemporary artist who makes beautiful home decor items that pay homage to her love for the environment. A former corporate employee, she left a high-flying career behind to pursue her one true love — gardening. After the initial days of tending to her plants, nurturing them, watching them grow, she came to a realization. That these life-giving plants of hers were growing in non-recyclable, non-sustainable plastic planters. So, Gurpreet got to work. With some experimentation and a lot of careful thought, she designed the first of her planters— crafted using reusable concrete. Soon, one concrete planter became two and then turned into a lively, eccentric garden; and Gurpreet started getting requests from friends and family to design similar planters for them. That was the unexpected start of Eliteearth. What started out as sustainable homes for her plants, slowly turned into vases, coasters, and several other concrete home decor items that bore her own unique stamp. Her distinctive personal style emanates peace and joy and denotes the vibrant spirit of the beautiful nature that inspired her in the beginning. Natural patterns, abstract shapes, picturesque landscapes, and flowers are all brought to life with harmonious colours and bold compositions. As Gurpreet explains, "I am a storyteller, and with these cement crafts, I invite you to join me on a visual adventure." Under her artistic eye, the brand started to craft jewellery, furniture, decorative wall tiles, and other decor accents, with an eco-friendly spin on them. As Eliteearth grew to be a bigger enterprise, Gurpreet pondered over a mission statement for her brand. She decided that "let's grow love" was a fitting homage to her early beginnings and to her dedication to helping spread love in the world. With that as the foundation, she is now taking Eliteearth in a direction to help people from underprivileged backgrounds find sustainable futures.
