Mechanobiology Institute
mbi.nus.edu.sgAt the Mechanobiology Institute, National University of Singapore, we are exploring mechanotransduction through molecular, cellular, tissue, and technological innovations. Our goal is to develop a new model of biomedical research by focusing on the quantitative and systematic understanding of dynamic cellular processes. MBI pioneers in developing tools to control cellular microenvironment and quantify cellular forces that, in conjunction with its state-of-the-art imaging facilities, are used to visualize how forces influence motility and morphogenesis at the molecule, cell, and tissue level.
