Headquartered at the foot of Greenville's Paris Mountain (elevation 2,054 ft.), Paris MTN Scout takes its name from a long-forgotten (and completely fictional) cadre of pre-WWII boy explorers and adventurers who built a complex system of caves, forts, and traps in and around Paris Mountain to protect its inhabitants from the shenanigans of moonshiners, ex-Confederates, and Elmer Gantry-like itinerant evangelists.
