UDOPP
farmaci.uu.seUppsala Drug Optimization and Pharmaceutical Profiling (UDOPP) local platform at the Department of Pharmacy, Uppsala University (Sweden), determines physicochemical and Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion (ADME) properties of hit compounds, characterizes pharmacokinetics (PK) profile, performs PBPK simulations and PK/PD modeling for lead compounds in order to select most effective candidate drug molecules. UDOPP is affiliated to SciLifeLab’s National Drug Discovery and Development Platform (DDD) as the ADME of Therapeutics (ADMEoT) facility. UDOPP is also affiliated to two Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) programs: 1) European Gram-negative Antibacterial Engine (ENABLE) consortium as the In Vitro ADME facility, 2) ConcePTION, as facility responsible for bioanalysis and determination of pharmacokinetics.
